April 29, 2016
Hello! It’s almost May!!! I can’t wait to get warmer weather as we creep into May. This is our busiest month of the year. We have Mother’s Day, Jud’s birthday on the 11th, Harper’s birthday on the 14th, and Elly’s birthday on the 15th. Then my sister and two of my brothers are also in May, yeah it’s crazy! It’s starting to warm up (50’s-60’s) here in Maine already and you better believe we’re getting outside and enjoying it! So to close out the month of April here are some of my favorite things lately.
First up this this Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer. We’ve been really eating clean lately and I’ve been trying out different healthier creamers for a while but just hadn’t found one that I liked, but finally I found one! I put this creamer and one truvia packet in my coffee and it’s delicious. If you are looking for a creamer that’s better for your body then try this stuff out! Next up is a new eyeliner I just discovered. It’s the L’OREAL Lineur Intense® Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner. It was recommended on a blog that I read, I don’t usually try out new beauty products unless it’s been recommended by someone. So I thought I would give it a try since the person was raving about it and I’m glad I did, I really like. I’m not a fan of liquid eye liner because honestly it’s such a pain in the butt! This is a felt tip and it goes on nice and smooth, I haven’t messed it up yet so that’s a major bonus.
Some of the things on this list of, 24 Things We Unexpectedly Become Obsessed With In Our Late 20s are oh to true for me these days. I don’t feel like I’m in my late 20’s but reading this makes me second guess myself.
A favorite moment for me this week was looking out the window and seeing my two older girls visiting with my grandmother. It’s so special that they get to spend so much time with her. Her apartment is connected to our house, so the girls pop in to visit and chat with her almost daily, it’s great for getting the girls out of the house and also giving Mammie something to look forward to. I made these delicious Turkey Meatballs from a recipe on Bodybuilding.com. They were very yummy, obviously you can see a little of the spinach so the girls were like “ugh what’s that?”. Once I forced them to take a bite they liked them!
Last but not least is our first VLOG we made yesterday. It’s just a video of our day, it was fun and came out pretty good. I can’t wait to make another one and to someday be able to look back on the videos. Check it out and let me know what you think.
I hope you all had a great week. Here’s to hoping the kids sleep in this weekend and the coffee doesn’t run out!
